Danielle, can you sum up your 2021 experience?
A whirlwind with a new business, baby and further lockdowns, but a year that has brought me much professional and personal satisfaction;

You started a business during a pandemic – how have you prioritised your mental health and the mental health of your employees?
I prioritise my mental health by exercising frequently. My business funds Mental Health and Wellbeing activities up to $300 per person for all employees and consultants of the firm. This includes webinars, mindfulness applications, e.g. Smiling Mind Application.
We know the lockdowns are challenging for those with children as they navigate caring responsibilities and their job and encourage staff to reschedule meetings to more appropriate times for them and their family and add more flexibility to their day by working different hours that may suit their situation.

Are you using any mental health resources at the moment?

I use an application called Daily Moton mainly for access to fitness and movement videos.

Are there any mental health initiatives you are going to implement soon?
My business supplies mental health and Wellbeing activities up to $300 per person for all employees and consultants of the firm. This includes webinars, mindfulness applications, e.g. Smiling Mind Application.

What are your three non-negotiables daily or weekly to keep your mental health in check?

  1. Fresh air on my face
  2. Exercise
  3. Hugs with my babies
